**Transylvania
County Tennis will begin lessons for all
ages in mid-March at the Silvermont tennis courts.
To learn more about this program, please visit
www.transylvaniacountytennis.com.
**Registration for the 2012 Summer League Basketball
league will begin on Monday, April 30 and will extend
through May 25. Games will begin in early June.

**Zumba
classes are held at the TAC every
Monday and Wednesday from 5:30pm-6:30pm and every
Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am.
The 10 class session is $50 or $7 per class. All
classes are instructed by Hiro Martin. For more

Transylvania County, North Carolina is the home of endless recreational
opportunities. Over one-third of the county's 379 square miles is
comprised of National and State Forest land. The Blue Ridge
Parkway, the French Broad River and over 250 waterfalls are among
the most popular tourist destinations in the eastern United
States.
The
Transylvania County Parks and Recreation Department offers a number
of recreational opportunities to our 29,000 residents. The
department maintains and operates seven parks in the county and
offers numerous athletic, arts/leisure, and fitness programs
available to people of all ages.
