The Transylvania Activity Center was opened to the public in 1990.  The park spans over 34 acres and is home to most of our recreational programming.  The park includes the following amenities:

*Gymnasium:  Facility includes a full size and 2 short basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, gymnastics equipment, 2 badminton courts, and 2 shuffleboard courts. 

                       There is seating for 150 persons. 

*Activity Room:  The carpeted 1200 sq. ft. room can accommodate up to 100 persons.  

*Parks &Rec. Offices

*Softball Fields: Two lighted regulation fields

*Soccer Fields: One regulation field and several small sized fields.  All soccer fields are unlighted. 

*Multi-purpose fields: Two unlighted fields.

*Outdoor Shuffleboard: One regulation court; one indoor court in the gymnasium

*Horseshoes: Two regulation courts

*Playground

*Access to the Brevard Bike/Multi-Use Trail System

Rental Information

The gymnasium or the activity room can be leased for private or civic/company functions for a fee of $20.00 per hour.  These facilities are available to rent Monday-Saturday (closed Sunday).  To view the facility rental policy please click here.
